The Trinidad Recreation Center is owned and operated by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation. It is located at the corner of Childress and Holbrook Streets NE, in the Trinidad neighborhood. The recreation center, which was built in 2007 and was awarded LEED certification in 2009, has an indoor gymnasium, a multi-purpose room, a weight room, an arcade/game room, a computer room, and an arts and crafts room.Don't forget the annual H Street Festival - it has been a mainstay for over 10 years running, although unfortunately you just missed it this year (September 17, 2016).
